SPT Offshore Successfully Installed Suction Pile Jacket in the China

On behalf of PCI contractor Guangzhou Salvage, SPT Offshore successfully installed the first Suction Pile Jacket in the South Chinese Sea, around 26 km from Yangjiang. This jacket is one of the foundations for a 300MW Offshore Windfarm.

For the installation SPT Offshore used our SAPS-007 suction pump spread. The suction installation after SWP (5.5m) and inclination correction was 3 hrs and 10min for 3 no’s 13m OD and 10.6m deep suction piles.
