Siem Offshore secured contract extensions for two PSV’s

Norway based offshore vessel provider ‘Siem Offshore’ secured contract extensions for two of its Platform Supply Vessels from its Brazil based Fleet.

According to Siem Offshore, the charter has exercised the first of two six months extension options for each of the vessels ‘Siem Atlas’ and ‘Siem Giant’.

Extension term to start from 9th December 2019, which is in continuation to previously awarded contract.

The company did not disclose the name of the charterer/end-user and neither the day rate, at this time.

In August 2018, Siem Offshore secured contracts for both PSV’s, with each vessel awarded with a one-year term and two six-month options.

DP2 class Siem Atlas is STX PSV 4700 designed PSV, and delivered in 2013, however, Siem Giant is also DP2 with same design but delivered in 2014.

Siem Offshore group currently have 35 vessels in operation.
