Petroperu and the Public Ministry of Peru join efforts to guarantee security for the Norperuano Pipeline

The Prosecutor of the Nation, Zoraida Ávalos Rivera and the President of the Board of Directors of PETROPERÚ, Carlos Paredes Lanatta, signed a framework agreement for institutional cooperation with the objective of strengthening the presence of the Public Ministry in the fiscal districts of the areas surrounding the Norperuano Pipeline (ONP).

The mutual collaboration agreement, signed between the Public Ministry and PETROPERÚ, commits both institutions to implement specialized prosecution and crime prevention offices, as well as legal medical units and expert services in the fiscal districts of the areas adjacent to the ONP.

Among the actions to be implemented, crime prevention work has also been contemplated in these areas, in accordance with the competences of both institutions that join efforts to establish joint intervention strategies.
