Petrobras, following up on the press release disclosed today regarding the Transition Agreement signed under the natural gas supply agreement (GSA) with Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), announced that the disclosed Transition Agreement establishes the basis for the renegotiation of the commercial conditions related to the acquisition of natural gas by Petrobras.

Based on the current GSA terms, Petrobras has the right to request the volume of 30.08 million m³/d. One of the aspects that is being renegotiated between the parties involves the expectation of reducing this volume commitment to 20 million m³/d, allowing the surplus to be marketed directly by YPFB to other players in the Brazilian market. The contracted volume, as well as other commercial aspects should be redefined until March 10, 2020, when the Transition Agreement closes.

Petrobras reaffirms its commitment to the opening of the natural gas market, encouraging the entry of new agents.
