“Mobilizing crew or service engineers to and from vessels is an enormous challenge during the COVID-19 outbreak”: explains KenzFigee

After arrival of the KenzFigee service engineers in Singapore, they first had to be quarantined for 2 weeks before boarding Heerema Marine Contractors’ Aegir to safeguard crew and prevent the virus from spreading. Once they arrived safe and healthy arrived on board the Aegir, installation activities of the 50t KenzFigee built knuckle boom crane started.

After mounting the crane to its new pedestal, KenzFigee -together with Lloyds- successfully completed the HAT (Harbor Acceptance Test) tests in Singapore. The crane installation will be completed during the voyage to Taiwan.
