IHC IQIP to Deliver 84 Jacket Pile Grippers for Taiwanese Offshore Wind Project

IHC IQIP announces another order for 84 Jacket Pile Grippers for an offshore wind project. The order relates to the first Taiwanese project for 21 OWF jacket foundations to be installed in 2020.

The Jacket Pile Grippers systems are designed in accordance with the DNV-OS-J101 regulation for grouted connections. Besides DNV regulations, the IHC IQIP Jacket Pile Grippers guarantee for a temporary fixation, resulting in safe and high operability during offshore installation in an area known for its harsh conditions.

The foundations must be able to withstand extreme Taiwanese circumstances such as cyclonic waves and winds, and earthquake loads.
