Daco Heavylift Installs Liebherr STS Guatemala

Daco Heavylift was contracted to install a Liebherr STS container crane at the new container terminal APM Terminals in Guatemala.

During execute the scope Daco Heavylift designed all lifting plans and usied 3 cranes with different lifting capacities:

  • TEREX CC2500 (500 ton);
  • Liebherr LTM1400 (400 ton), and;
  • Liebherr LTM1200 (200 ton).

Together, these cranes were able to lift and install all required components (weighing up to 173 tons) to ensure the STS could be commissioned inside the port’s facilities.
