Aker Solution Reports Gas Incident at Their Yard in Stord, Norway

There was an incident reported at Aker Solutions’ yard in Stord after gas was ignited in a culvert inside the yard area. All personnel have been accounted for, and the situation is under control.

At this stage, there are only moderate injuries. In total, 12 personnel have been checked by the company health center. One of these has been directed to the local hospital. The public emergency services and the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority have been notified of the incident. The police is investigating the site, and there will also be an internal investigation process.
