PETROPERÚ Appointed New President of the Board of Directors

The General Shareholders’ Meeting of PETROPERÚ appointed Carlos Alfredo Barrientos Gonzales as the new President of the Board of Directors of the state oil company.

Barrientos Gonzales, who had been working since August 5, 2019 as General Manager of PETROPERÚ, has more than 23 years of professional experience in general business management, having held positions of board member, general management, management and headquarters.

The official is also a Master in Strategic Business Administration, from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He has participated in the Senior Management Program (PAD) of the University of Piura and in the “CEO Management Program” of the Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management, in Illinois, USA.
