SPT Offshore Completes Changhua Offshore Pile Test Campaign

At the beginning of 2019, SPT Offshore was contracted by the Danish Contractor Per Aarsleff to assist with the Changhua Offshore Pile Test campaign, offshore Taiwan.

SPT contributed by building a dedicated suction pump system to control installation of the Pile Guide Frame (PGF) which was founded on suction piles.

SPT Offshore provided detailed design of the suction piles, developed a project-specific pump system and assisted during the offshore campaign for repetitive installations of the PGF.

This contributed to a successful completion of the project. The offshore pile test campaign is an integral component of a Taiwan research project for the development of offshore wind in Changhua and its key technologies.
