Karmarine Shipyard has completed the transformation of the 1982 semi-submersible support yacht AS Super Servant 3, built by Oshima Shipbuilding.

She left the Turkish yard as a “world-girdling” expedition motor yacht with an exterior styled by Bozca Design, an array of standout features and new insignia.

OK, as she’s since been named, is unorthodox, to say the least. She has a length of 146 metres and a beam of 32.01-metres, which is most concentrated on her aft deck that boasts an impressive 3,300 open space. In her previous life, she was used as a ship to transport yachts, hence this large open flat deck. Karmarine Shipyard took full advantage of this deck, as it is not only spacious – providing accommodation for 70 different toys, including a 46-metre sailing yacht, multiple tenders, buggies, amphibious vehicles and a sea plane – but can also be partially submerged.

Karmarine Shipyard enhanced her internal strength so that OK can handle both stern and side loading. Her submerging ability allows her to carry a wide range of tenders and toys, it also allows the vessel to transform into an “island concept”.

Some of OK’s standout features include a glass-wrapped sun deck Jacuzzi, an outdoor cinema, a tennis court and a botanic garden. She also features not one, but four large aquariums. Some of her more practical features include a car ramp, a 40-tonne crane and a vertical wind turbine.
