Successful Load-out of Piles for the Tyra Oil Platform at Sif

After being in the Sif yard for over 10 months, the last of the piles for the Tyra oil platform – built by Dragados Offshore – was loaded last Thursday.

Sif’s logistics team deployed a 1350t crane and a 750t crane in order to board the piles from one position, without having to turn the barge. As a result, everything was loaded and pre-rigged within 48 hours.
